BNG Technologies Limited ("BNG", "we", "us", or "our") is an enterprise ICT integration and cybersecurity company registered in Nigeria. Our registered offices are at 25 Kayode Otitoju Street, Lekki Phase One, Lagos, and 14 Volta Street, Maitama, Abuja FCT.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data collected through our website at bngtechnologies.com and through our business communications.

2. Data we collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it to us:

  • Contact form: First name, last name, work email, phone number, company name, job title, and your enquiry message.
  • Newsletter subscription: Your email address.
  • Direct communications: Any personal data you include when contacting us by email or phone.

We do not collect data through cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools beyond standard server logs. We do not collect payment information through this website.

3. How we use your data

We use the data you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or quote request
  • Send you the BNG Technologies newsletter if you subscribed
  • Fulfil a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request
  • Comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

To operate this website we use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Formspree (formspree.io) — processes contact form submissions and forwards them to our email. See their privacy policy.
  • Mailchimp / Intuit — stores newsletter subscriber email addresses and sends campaign emails. See their privacy policy.
  • Netlify — hosts this website and logs standard server access data (IP address, browser, pages visited). See their privacy policy.
  • Google Maps — displays embedded maps on our contact page. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Unsplash — serves stock photography used on this site. Images are loaded from Unsplash's CDN.

5. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data under the Nigerian Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), on the following bases:

  • Consent — for newsletter subscriptions (you can withdraw at any time).
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to business enquiries you initiate.
  • Legal obligation — where required by Nigerian law.

6. Data retention

We retain contact form data for up to 24 months from the date of receipt, or longer if required to fulfil a contract or legal obligation. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data security

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Under the NDPA and GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Withdraw consent at any time (for newsletter: use the unsubscribe link in any email)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)

9. Children's privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
